About Ian..

After more than 20 years leading the lettings side of a well-regarded local estate agent, the company was acquired by a large national organisation and relocated.


Ian decided that the corporate model didn’t suit his approach to the industry, so he decided to branch out on his own.


Brambley residential was founded in 2023 and Ian brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to the new venture.


Ian prefers to have a personal relationship with tenants and landlords alike, and operating from Bradford-on-Avon remains a well-known figure within the community.


Brambley residential’s  network also extends to Melksham, Trowbridge and all the surrounding villages and hamlets.

If you are using a high street agent then the answer is almost certainly  yes.


Whilst we are not a "budget" letting agent - far from it - Ian made a deliberate decission when setting up this business not to have a shiny office in town because quite simply you don't need one any longer.  The drop in footflow (post lock down) to virtually nothing into his previous office Bradford on Avon convinced him of this.   Internet search engines & the growth in popularity of Rightmove mean that people now search for property on a device, from home or work,  rather than visit an estate agent.


Not having an office means not having the huge overhead & Ian is able to pass this saving onto his landlords by way of much lower fees. Please ask for details.

Ian will meet you at your property, or a local cafe (he pays), provide an up to date rental valuation, anwer any questions you may have & advise you of all your legal obligations to your tenant.


If you already have a tenant in the property Ian will check your tenancy paperwork to ensure everything is correct & do a rent review.


There is no charge for this & no obligation.

If your property is ready to let we will market it on Rightmove & local Social Media.

Remember with Rightmove we are reaching the same potential tenants as  all the high street agents.


We offer two levels of service:

                    Tenant Find Only or                    Fully Managed.
